MIL – Lisbon International Music Network is a festival and an international music convention whose goal is to celebrate and promote popular and contemporaneous music from Portuguese-speaking countries, with the aim of increasing international awareness and appreciation.
Focusing specifically in the Lusophony music market, MIL intends to be a platform of international exchange constituted by two kinds of programs:
Program Pro is reserved for professionals of both the national and international music industry, and features presentations, debates and discussions on the main topics affecting the different sectors of the music industry. This is a place of opportunities for agents, artists, promotors, journalists and opinion-makers to present their work and establish contacts through meetings and networking encounters.
The artistic program is open to the general public and consolidates the live component of the festival, combining Portuguese speaking artists and their international counterparts.
